Multiple Interacting Instances of Neuronal Dynamics

MIIND

MIIND is framework, written in C++, intended to facilitate simulations of neuronal networks. It provides a cass libraries which allow the creation of network of nodes, each node standing for a neuronal population. It provides methods for writing these networks to and from disks and provides several algorithms to simulate neuronal dynamics at each node. These algorithms vary from relatively simple (Wilson-Cowan dynamics) to quite sophisticated (population density method). MIIND does not offer algorithms for single spiking neurons, but is intended for large-scale cognitive modelling.

 

At the moment everything that is available is a small test program. It can be downloaded here.
